The Farm
Our farm grows cocoa, a long-term crop that will become a steady source of revenue for the work we do. It also serves the surrounding community and provides food for our gatherings.
And it’s managed by one of our own graduates.

Farm Grounds
Our farmland sits near Jinja, Uganda, on 12.5 acres. Today it’s planted primarily in cocoa, maize, beans cabbage, and bananas.
Sustainability
Cocoa takes years to mature, and that’s the point. It’s a long-term crop for a long-term mission. As the trees come into harvest, the revenue will help Children of Grace fund more of its own work. Along the way, the farm serves our neighbors and supplies food for community gatherings.

Ebal Ismail
FARM DIRECTOR
Ismail is a Children of Grace graduate. He grew up in Northern Uganda and joined our sponsorship program as a young boy. For more than ten years, a faithful sponsor walked with him from primary school through university. After earning his agriculture degree at [Busitema University], he came back to volunteer.
Today he manages our farm, helping sustain the work for the children who come after him.
"I understand what it means to be able to count on a meal. It is my joy to develop and manage this farm, so children will not experience hunger.
I have big dreams for this farm!”
